MBFF kicked off in Brisbane for 2010, at Saturday’s first official lunch time parade in Queen Street Mall, with Fashion Scene on hand to capture the first photo’s. The daily noon parade featured “key looks” from Queen Street Mall retailers.  Saturday night hosts the M-B Group Shows 1 -3 featuring local designers such as Paul Hunt,Lisa Ho & Easton Pearson.  Sunday provides another noon Queen St Mall parade, followed by the “V Australia”  swimwear parade featuring likes of White Sands & Rebecca Manning. The Sunday evening with more Group Shows and more talent.  The Brisbane Arcade GS attracted the attendance of the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC and Premier Anna Bligh. Designers in this group included Tengdahl, Bora, Sarva & Meow Meow, with great showing by The Hat Box.  Bringing such an event to Brisbane is a huge credit to event organiser Lindsay Bennett and his team.
