Fashion Scene is Co-Founded by Christian Bowman & Begitta Stolk. This website is an indepedent source of Australian Fashion news, multi-media including photos, videos and soon podcasts and teleseminars.

About Christian Bowman

Having stumbled into the Fashion industry in 2006, you’ve probably seen a photo taken by Christian Bowman at some stage. In 2007, Christian’s photography was used for all promo for the Ekka Parades, either on street banners or featured on bus shelters around Brisbane’s CBD. Christian is also the person behind a lot of top landing pages online for search terms “NRA Fashion”, “MSIT Fashion”, “QUT Fashion” and various other high traffic keywords.

Christian Bowman graduated from Queensland College of Art, Griffith University in Design Studies in 2003. With design being his official trade, he worked with RSPCA QLD, designing and implementing their homepage in 2001-03 and World for Pets online store in 2006-07. He also ran a video production business from 2002-05 in the Wedding industry. Christian currently works in Brisbane as an Internet Marketer and Photographer.

About Begitta Stolk

Designer Begitta Stolk grew up in Sydney, Australia, then relocated to the Gold Coast, Queensland with her family where she pursued her desire to create all things beautiful. After being made finalist at the Australian Retail Awards in 2008, and going on to be nominated for Gold Coast Honours 2008 by the Gold Coast Bulletin.

Begitta has taken her label to fanciful heights. As a  recent graduate from The Australian Institute of Fashion Design, Begitta’s quirky, whimsical edge is what makes this label so unique and has caught the attention of many. In the current collection “DollHouse”, each garment has been created to delight beyond your fantasies, inspired by each ranges name ‘Carnivale’, ‘Tea Party’ & ‘Happily Ever After’.
